President Bush and Democratic Congressional leaders reached an agreement on an economic package to help the economy. The package includes a tax rebate to every American familiy earning up to $150,000. The proposal calls for giving each couple $1200. There will also be aid for business.

Mitt Romeny won the Republican primary in Michigan. In the first three primaries three different Republican have won the primaries. There is no clear leader in the Republican party at the moment

Irananian boats approached American ships in international waters today and threatened to sink them. The American ships were within moments of firing on the ships when they withdrew. The near attack increased tensions in the Persian Gulf to new highs.
